Under the close supervision of the Accounting Administrator I (Supervisor) in the System Reconciliation and Support Unit, the Accountant Trainee (AT) performs technical, analytical, and a variety of accounting duties in support of the Accounting Branch. The AT assists with daily on-site operations, including processing mail, recording checks, completing deposits in the Financial Information Systems for California (FI$Cal), coordinating the branch’s monthly timesheets, and providing administrative support. The incumbent also supports record retention activities by ensuring documentation is logged, tracked, and organized in accordance with established procedures.
