Under general supervision performs a variety of professional legal duties in support of the child support program and the establishment and enforcement of paternity and support orders; represents the department and litigates civil cases in courts of law; researches, analyzes, interprets, and applies state and federal statutes, regulations, case law, policies and procedures; provides professional legal advice and assistance to department staff related to the child support program; and performs related duties as assigned.
